Privacy Policy
This page explains what information Citizenshiptestpractice.com.au collects when you use the site, why, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
If you use the site without creating an account, we keep a temporary, anonymous session so your in-progress practice or mock test can be found again if you refresh the page. This isn't tied to your name or email, just a random identifier stored in your browser.
If you create an account, we collect your first name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form). We also store your practice history, mock test results, bookmarks, and mistake list, since that's what makes the progress-tracking features work.
If you purchase full access, payment is handled by Stripe, we never see or store your card details. We keep a record of the payment status and a Stripe reference ID so we can confirm your access.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information to third parties. We don't share your practice results or test history with anyone, including any government agency. We don't display ads on this site.
Cookies
We use a session cookie so the site works (keeping you logged in, remembering an in-progress test). We don't use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Your information, your control
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or request that it be deleted, by contacting us via the contact page. If you delete your account, your practice history and results are deleted with it.
Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, never in plain text. All pages are served over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is used, we'll update this page and adjust the "last updated" date above.
